Technology and Network is highly demanding in the country. Each year, there
is very high expense on its import cost and the Public Sector also plans
500,000 millions baht investment in it in order to achieve 10 millions telephone
numbers. While the domestic industry has an advanced ability in equipment
manufacturing and assembling, there is lack of capacity in developing the
model for manufacturing. Consequently, it is urgently necessary for the
Public Sector to improve the potentiality of related model manufacturing
to compensate the import expense. In addition, the alignment of the telecommunication
and Information Communication opens an opportunity for the incoming SMEs
who will become the larger enterprise in the future.
