To ensure that R&D results get efficiently applied to commercialization, NECTEC has developed the following mechanisms to be used for the effective implementation of ECTI technologies in the industrial sector.
1. Licensing
According to the NTSDAs policy, NECTEC gives licenses to government and private agencies for the use of NECTECีs product prototypes and technologies. With these licenses, the industrial recipients will get benefit especially to their own initiatives in further research and development of potential production.

2. Open Laboratory
NECTEC Open Laboratory aims to transfer the expertise in ECTI technologies and build human capacity in the public and private sectors, including universities. The mechanism is creating collaboration among them. The Open Laboratory service provides operational facilities such as laboratory rooms, hardware, and equipment for researchers, developers, and students to undertake their R&D work. In addition, NECTECีs experts are targeted to mutually work with those researchers and students as their supervisors or co-advisor for the accomplishment of their projects/ dissertations.

3. New Entrepreneur Development
NECTEC, in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Technology, has initiated the Techno-business Start-up Program that aims for the creation of new entrepreneurs. Its main purpose is to support and promote the emergence of new entrepreneurs by providing knowledge, advises and resource network for building new business. The program has been also supported by the New Entrepreneur Creation Project, a project of the Industrial Promotion Department under the Ministry of Industry.

4. Joint Research
NECTEC has cooperated with businesses and industries in working on joint research and development aimed for commercial production. This could also be joint investment in the forms of capital, manpower, or research technologies.
