Licensing
According to the NTSDAs policy, NECTEC gives licenses to government
and private agencies for the use of NECTECีs product prototypes and
technologies. With these licenses, the industrial recipients will
get benefit especially to their own initiatives in further research
and development of potential production.
2. Open Laboratory
NECTEC Open Laboratory aims to transfer the expertise in ECTI technologies
and build human capacity in the public and private sectors, including
universities. The mechanism is creating collaboration among them.
The Open Laboratory service provides operational facilities such
as laboratory rooms, hardware, and equipment for researchers, developers,
and students to undertake their R&D work. In addition, NECTECีs
experts are targeted to mutually work with those researchers and
students as their supervisors or co-advisor for the accomplishment
of their projects/ dissertations.
3. New Entrepreneur Development
NECTEC, in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Technology,
has initiated the Techno-business Start-up Program that aims for
the creation of new entrepreneurs. Its main purpose is to support
and promote the emergence of new entrepreneurs by providing knowledge,
advises and resource network for building new business. The program
has been also supported by the New Entrepreneur Creation Project,
a project of the Industrial Promotion Department under the Ministry
of Industry.
4.
Joint Research
NECTEC has cooperated with businesses and industries in working
on joint research and development aimed for commercial production.
This could also be joint investment in the forms of capital, manpower,
or research technologies.
